I've created a number of animated holding slides opening stings & awards shortlists over the years. I started out using Macromedia Flash, but as Microsoft Power Point became more advanced I was soon able to achieve the same results in that. Over the years I've also picked up Apple Keynote & Adobe After Effects, often using combinations of these packages to achieve things they can't individually.

As part of learning graphics software I always experiment with their animation capabilities to see how far I can push them. Starting out by making South Park style cartoons in Flash, I've progressed to more complex animations using the Adobe suite. I'm not above trying my hand at older styles of animation too. It's been a very long time since I drew a flick book, but you can have a lot of fun using a GoPro as a stop motion camera. I'm now experimenting with model photography & one day hope to build my own motion control rig.
